NEPA COORDINATION/DOCUMENTATION The National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) was promulgated in 1969 but has undergone many iterations since its inception. While this law requires the federal government to process specific steps prior to taking actions which may affect the environment, it is also one that subjects many state agencies, municipalities, and local governments to oversight as well. DCW Squared will assist in determining whether your project or program can be pursued with a simple categorical exclusion, will require a general environmental assessment (EA), or a fully developed environmental impact statement (EIS).
