Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) considers all aspects of health and safety in the workplace with a focus on the prevention of hazards. Often OHS is considered as a subset of safety management, yet it needs to be looked at as an independent discipline. Whereas safety looks more at the risks of accidents and physical factors. Occupational Health (OH) looks at processes and environmental factors.
DCW Squared, LLC’s OH professionals will first review your Safety Management Plan then audit your business for workplace hazards, unhealthy environmental conditions, and risk indicators leading to accidents, musculoskeletal injuries risks, respiratory impacts, noise hazards, lighting hazards, occupational stress and prevention of spread of communicable diseases and worker exposure thereto.
